Love one another

Scribe Ioan Kratovski, 1577, Kratovo monastery, inspired this pattern. The New Commandment of Love granted by Jesus in John 13:33-34 reminds us of the true essence of love - not a merely emotion or physical Eros, but rather divine love - Agape. The frame around the Word of God is created through repetition of the small pattern found in the manuscript, executed with much detail. Scribes emphasized this message by the color red.
