Mother's Offering

This piece commemorates my daughter graduating from high school. Below is the mother, portrayed from behind with her hair loose. She gives her daughter to God and to Life. The girl is dressed in the traditional Bulgarian dress and holds up a ritual bread as an offering to God. The bread here resembles the sun.
